The Lord's Prayer

Matthew 6:9–13 (KJV) — taught by Jesus, a prayer for all. Every FLOTA scholar learns it by heart and learns what the words mean.

Bible Basics — Let's Exegete

Exegete means to dig into a passage and pull out what it really says. Work through these five questions with every scripture we read.

  1. 1.Who is speaking?
  2. 2.Who are they speaking to?
  3. 3.What is the message / what lesson can we learn?
  4. 4.What do we learn about God?
  5. 5.How can we apply the lesson to our lives?
