Homework is school-wide at FLOTA. Every student practices spelling and reads every night. Your teacher will tell you which spelling activity is assigned each week.
Spelling Practice
Follow what your teacher assigns from this list:
- ✓Write each word 3x each
- ✓Put your words in alphabetical order
- ✓Pyramid words (build each word letter by letter)
- ✓Use each word in a sentence
- ✓Rainbow words — trace each word in 3 colors
- ✓Type your words or practice them out loud with a partner

Reading builds the strongest foundation of all. Read every single day.

Homework Routine
- 1. Spelling activity assigned by your teacher.
- 2. Read your minutes (out loud when you can).
- 3. Finish any classwork your teacher sent home.
